How do you turn a globalized object of maritime trade into a playmate? French-Japanese dancer Satchie Noro's passion for large boxes, and particularly containers, led her to ask this question. In Origami, the aerial dancer and choreographer dialogues with an impressive monster of scrap metal. Sometimes a refuge, sometimes a house, sometimes a hut, this metal box becomes an original piece of apparatus, thanks to the ingenuity of builder and set designer Silvain Ohl. Volumes in motion create voids and solids that host a dance in perpetual imbalance. The organic and mechanical meeting of the human body and the industrial object reveals the playful poetry of the most unlikely unions. Mischievous and virtuoso, Satchie Noro and Silvain Ohl make steel waltz!
