Marc Lacourt has been an associate artist of L?échangeur-CDCN since 2022. These three years of partnership and complicity have led to numerous creations, shows, residencies, workshops, laughs and encounters. Since then, he has been a guest at all the Kidanse and C?est comme ça! Marc Lacourt could not be absent from this edition. L'échangeur gave him carte blanche? for an exhibition!

"One morning, as I was walking near a wood, I felt a strange and irresistible urge to enter the forest along a narrow path, simply because the sunlight falling on it had caught my eye. The path called to me like Alice going down the rabbit hole, so I took it. I'm often reminded of a small, barely lit house, hidden behind the branches, where Red Riding Hood goes, the witch's house, a gingerbread house. A dense, overflowing space, made up of billions of moving elements. A path that makes you dance, in a spider?s web made of wood where, to get there, you have to help yourself and set the work in motion. For me, chance is the best ally. It makes me do an about-face by giving me one more question, one more unexpected movement. I'd like to build a work that needs help, that needs to be moved to make sense of itself
