A forest of writers in Hauts-de-France

The Réseau des maisons d'écrivain et des patrimoines littéraires invites you and its illustrator, Anne-Claire Giraudet, on a literary and creative walk.
The abundance of writers in the Hauts-de-France region, from the great names to the lesser-known, who make up the substance and sap of this forest of writers, deserved to be grouped together for new meetings with the public from August 3 to 31, 2024, during the Rencontres poétiques de Château-Thierry.
The Réseau des maisons d'écrivain et des patrimoines littéraires and the town of Château-Thierry have joined forces to offer and share the exhibition Une forêt d'écrivains en Hauts-de-France on the esplanade of the château, an exceptional site in Château-Thierry.

The Réseau des maisons d'écrivain et des patrimoines littéraires, an association under the law of 1901, is a section of the Fédération nationale des maisons d'écrivain et des patrimoines littéraires.
For the past twenty years, the network has been promoting the region's rich literary heritage, creating a high-quality cultural network and telling the story of the French language and literature by highlighting writers from the 9th to the 10th centuries, in all literary genres. It invites the public to discover unusual places, houses, museums and landscapes where the great works of French literature are rooted.

A forest of writers to discover on a springtime stroll through the château grounds!
