The American Monument was donated by our allies during the First World War as a sign of French-American friendship. Inaugurated in 1937 and built by Franco-American architect Paul Cret, it commemorates the help given by our American allies during the battles that affected Château-Thierry. To mark the centenary of the Armistice, the Visitor Center was opened. It opens onto a 200 m² space in the depths of the Monument. A visit punctuated by images, interactive terminals and period material that will take you to the heart, so that you don't forget.


    Open from 9am to 8pm, all year round.
    Interpretation center open 10am-12pm and 1:30pm-5pm, year-round.
