The Napoleonic battles during the French Campaign began in 1814. In Essise, a small historical museum takes up this story. The Prussian army installed at Caquerêts faced the Napoleonic army. You will discover this history thanks to the diorama representing the confrontations with the help of nearly 1000 hand painted figurines. A tourist and historical circuit “The Road of the 4 Victories”, passing by monuments, plaques, steles, evokes the feats of arms of the French Campaign.
