Côteaux Propres

The Mission is inviting communes in the Champagne region to take part in the Villages et Coteaux propres operation on Saturday October 4. The aim: to make a collective gesture to protect our environment and beautify our vineyards.

Here's how it works: each interested local authority registers with the Mission. It is then up to them to mobilize their associations, businesses and residents to ensure that as many people as possible are present on October 4. Together, and in a convivial atmosphere, they "rake" the papers and waste abandoned on the territory of the commune, with the equipment placed at their disposal.

The Coopérative du Syndicat Général des Vignerons is the Mission's long-standing partner in this operation. It will provide each participating community with a planting kit comprising trees and shrubs, a mulching disc and rabbit-proofing.
