Mémorial à la Division américaine Arc-en-Ciel (42nd Rainbow Division US)

This bronze sculpture of almost 3 meters is the work of sculptor James Butler. This pietà represents an American soldier carrying his dead comrade in his arms. It is a strong testimony of the American commitment and particularly of one of the infantry regiments of the division, the 167th Alabama, which distinguished itself on the battlefield of the Red Cross Farm on July 25 and 26, 1918.
