Discover the closest wine-growing area to the capital, in the heart of the Champagne appellation vineyards. On the first day, you go up the Marne river to Chézy-sur-Marne, located at the mouth of the Dolloir valley, then you follow the Dhuys aqueduct. In the evening, stop at Château-Thierry, the birthplace of La Fontaine, whose house can be visited. On the second day, after climbing up to the American monument of Cote 204, the path goes down to the Gothic abbey church of Essômes-sur-Marne. Point of view after point of view, the cornice paths, punctuated with wine-growing villages, reveal all the beauty of the Marne and, on arrival... champagne!
