A few weeks before the second Battle of the Marne, Xavier Moissinac, ace of the SPA 154 squadron, fell during an aerial combat on 3 June 1918 over the villages of Condé-en-Brie and Celles-les-Condé. Despite a bullet lodged between his eyes, he managed to land his biplane fighter intact not far from Surmelin, before giving up the ghost. This route follows in the footsteps of the hero, to reach his grave built in the cemetery of Celles-lès-Condé.
