"AUNAY expresses himself at the threshold of the shadow, at the limit of the perceptible. His allegorical characters are a little bit of apparitions, emotions of beings.
His technical ease is flawless, his painting powerfully felt. An eruptive, obvious language, which privileges the interior.
His painting displays an expressionist vigour. The writing is finished, angry and funny.
Always under the influence of an authentic inspiration, AUNAY seizes the moment in his gestures. His painting has all the more strength as it leaves the spectator to his free meditation. Gravity in her painting does not in any way deny vigour. Her sense of composition is marvellous. A painting that suggests is better than a painting that talks."
